Last week I went to Duane Reade(drugstore)& picked up 3 lipsticks.I intended to go to Rite Aide but needed to get something at Duane Reade so figured I'd check to see if they had the lipsticks and sure enough, they did! I also wanted to pick up 2-3 lip liners but the ones I wanted were all sold out.Boo! I have to go back and see if they are in stock again which I hope they are. The colors I got are all brown shades. I am light/fair skin and find that brown suits my skin tone.I'm not brave enough to try other colors. Maybe some day I will toughen up and expand to other colors.
I have an eyeliner from the Infallible line by Loreal & I LOVE it. I figured if the eyeliner is good maybe the lipsticks/lip liners are good. FYI: They are!
- Packaging: Although it is a bit bulky I do like the packaging. I like that on the front there is a sticker resembling the color of the lipstick.
- Price: I paid $10.49 for each lipstick at Duane Reade. I believe you can find these at most drugstores.
- Color payoff: One swipe and you will get the color it is. 1 out of the 3 lipsticks (844 Molten Caramel) has a bit of a shimmer. it is not intense at all and you can't feel it on your lips. The other 2 are matte brown.
- Long lasting:Yes! It does not smear,move around,and if it does fade (which I didn't notice any fading) I'm sure it will still show some color on the lips.I still have to test it out when eating/drinking something.
Also, these lipsticks do not feel sticky. They are not drying and apply smoothly.
All in all, I really like the Infallible line by L'oreal Paris. I was not disappointed with these lipsticks and will definitely try out more products from that line.
